GeoWord provides tailored English writing and translation services of resumes for professionals and students

In this project we completed a successful integration of a robust account dashboard into an existing Shopify e-commerce platform. Our focus was to provide a seamless user experience for a client in the resume translation industry, specializing in translating resumes from French, Italian, and German to English. Through the development of a custom "My Account" section, we have helped to create a streamlined process that allows users to upload their resume files in DOC or PDF format, make a secure payment, and receive the translated document via email notification.

Dashboard and Resume Translation Workflow

Our team understands the significance of efficient workflow processes. With this in mind and working with their designer, we developed a user-friendly account dashboard that simplifies the resume translation process. Users can create an account on the Shopify website and gain access to the "My Account" section, where they can effortlessly upload their resume files for English translation. The translation procedure is off-line executed by professionals, because they give users personalized attention.

Leveraging Shopify's secure payment gateway system, user can pay using existing checkout via Stripe and review pricing into the new account dashboard. Furthermore, the system administrator has access to the entire document workflow anytime needed.

Arigato Workflow Automation

Timely delivery is critical for users seeking translated resumes. We have installed and configured Arigato Workflow Automation app for this Shopify account. Once the payment is successfully processed by the system, it triggers an automated workflow that assigns the translation task to a team of professional translators. As soon as the English resume is ready and uploaded to the website, they ensure prompt delivery of the translated resumes directly to the user's email address. This automated approach minimizes delays and allows users to seamlessly incorporate their translated resumes into their job search or academic pursuits. We have implemented the necessary logic to enqueue all email notifications.

Technical Stack

To achieve this seamless integration, we utilized the following technologies:

• Shopify: An industry-leading e-commerce platform providing a solid foundation for the account dashboard integration we have developed.
• Shopify API: We integrated API features to enable accurate and efficient resume upload and email notifications.
• Shopify Liquid: Liquid is a template language that allows us to display data in a template. Liquid has constructs such as output, logic, loops and deals with variables.
• Javascript: programming language that is one of the core technologies of the World Wide Web, alongside HTML and CSS.
• jQuery: javascript library to enhance DOM functions.
